Artiste Assessments

At Mint we are the only agency to offer their artistes an assessment to see what level they are at.

The assessments are in groups of 6 people which last about an hour, and comprises of a ‘warm up’ exercise, a mock TV Commercial and a Monologue, all to camera.

We score each artiste on a traffic light basis, and those who pass GREEN will then be placed on our Commercial Division to be considered for roles classed as more than basic extra work.

These are optional and are at a cost of £30 (VAT inclusive)

The assessments are conducted by our in house tutor Suzanne Hall.

You must be represented by Mint Casting in order to have the option of an assessment and these can be booked from your login panel (mint shop) once you are represented by us.

Artiste Website Intro Video

We offer a service to our artistes where they can have on their Mint profile, a short Introduction video. You will be briefed in advance of the session and then directed on the day of the recording session

The videos are directed, recorded and edited by our in house tutor Suzanne Hall.

Acting Workshops

At Mint, we offer acting workshops for adults aged 16+, even if they are not represented by Mint Casting Agency.

The sessions are run by our in-house tutor Suzanne Hall (QTLS Cert Ed) who not only has been a teacher for many years, but has her own previous and current acting portfolio in some major productions.

Each session last 1.5 hours. There is no particular topic for each session, Suzanne covers a number of techniques and tasks aimed at filming for TV. The workshops are fun and many people return weekly, so the workshops do tend to book up quickly; especially as there are only a maximum of 12 people in the workshop.

Each week is different.

The cost of the workshops is £20 inclusive of VAT and we do ask for payment before attendance with the slots being so much in demand.
